Customer Service – Conditions of Purchase


Terms and Conditions effective from 2023-11-01:
PLEASE NOTE that all customers of US VIDEO must have turned 18 years old when ordering our products. By accepting these terms and conditions, you affirm that you are at least 18 years old.


Terms and Conditions in brief:

 1. All products available for online sale and prices can always be found in US Video's online price list and are valid only when ordered from our online store.
2. All products are sold as is.

3. Prices in our price list always include VAT without postage costs.

4. Payment methods include cash (cash on delivery) and Finnish bank and credit cards.

5. Delivery methods include the Finnish postal service (Itella) delivery methods.

6. The minimum warranty period for the product is what the consumer protection law requires.

7. A receipt or a copy of the invoice must be kept for warranty or error responsibility purposes.

8. There is a 14-day return policy on products if the product is unused. The return policy does not apply to underwear, intimate products, or films. If the product is defective, it will be exchanged for a new one.

9. All warranty repairs or other returns must be sent by mail as customer returns or delivered to our store according to the instructions given below.

10. Warranty or error liability does not cover, for example, product alterations, misuse, or damages due to neglect of instructions. Batteries are not covered by warranty.




1. Ordering

1.1 At the time of ordering, the customer must always provide:
a) consumer name, postal address, and email address.
b) business customers must register separately before placing an order following the instructions in the B2B section on the US Video homepage.
1.2 The customer agrees to the current contract, order, and delivery terms with each order.
1.3 Our online store's customer register is confidential, and no information is disclosed to third parties.
1.4 Communication between parties takes place via email or telephone. The customer agrees to monitor their email after placing an order.
1.5 Cancellation or changes to the order must be made as soon as possible after the order is placed. We reserve the right to charge for the costs of unredeemed cash on delivery packages (25 euros).
1.6 A binding sales agreement takes effect when the customer has submitted an order. The system confirms the order by sending an order confirmation to the customer's email.
1.7 We reserve the right to limit the sale of products.
1.8 The online store's liability for poor product availability, official or import restrictions is always limited to the termination of the sale and the return of any prepaid money.
1.9 All products sold in our online store are sold as is. Please familiarize yourself with the product information on our website or the package contents in the store.
1.10 The warranty does not apply to batteries that may come with the product.
1.11 We are not responsible for possibly incorrect product information from manufacturers' websites or other sources.


2. Prices

2.1 The prices in the price list include VAT, but not shipping.
2.2 Orders by telephone, mail, or email are delivered and paid for by cash on delivery. When ordering online, you can conveniently pay for the products with a credit card or order by cash on delivery.
2.3 All prices shown online are only valid for orders made through the shopping cart on our website.


3. Delivery

3.1 We deliver products to the customer with a processing time of usually 2-5 days. In addition to this, there is the normal transportation time for the product, e.g., the Post usually delivers packages within 1-2 days. We will notify of any possible delays separately.
3.2 If you are sending goods back to us, for example for a product return, remember to keep the return documents and the post office receipt copy/tracking number.


4. Payment Terms

4.1 The current list of payment methods can be found on our website.


5. Return Policy

5.1 The customer has a 14-day return right according to Finnish law, without any specific reason.
5.2 The mail order return right only applies to unused products. The consumer may open the package to inspect the goods without losing the right to cancel if the package remains intact. They cannot, however, take the goods into use.
5.3 The mail order return right does not apply to underwear, intimate products, or films. If the product is defective, it will be exchanged for a new one. In uncertain situations, please call us first to avoid unnecessary costs.
5.4 Returning the product is free of charge for the consumer.
5.5 The date of purchase or pick-up is considered to be the day the package is redeemed or collected from the post office, or alternatively, the date on the receipt. It is the customer's responsibility to prove the date on which the package was collected from the post, for example, by presenting the post office receipt.
5.6 If we exceptionally accept the return of a product that is not saleable, incomplete, or past the return period, we will still charge at least 25% of the product's price for our own costs.
5.7 Product returns must always be:
a) In the original package (well packed) without any markings.
b) Including a copy of the receipt or dispatch note.
c) Including an explanation of the reason for the return and/or the nature of the defect.
d) Including your name, address, phone number, and the account number to which we can refund your money.
e) Within 14 days from the purchase date.
5.8 We charge for unfounded returns according to our current price list. The current cost is 25 euros. ALWAYS contact us before returning at: info@usvideo.se
5.9 Customers must pay for the postage of returns made from abroad themselves.


6. Defective Products

6.1 Products must always be returned:
a) In the original packaging (well packed).
b) Including a copy of the receipt/dispatch note.
c) Including an explanation of the nature of the defect.
d) Including your name, address, and phone number.
6.2 We are not responsible for unnecessary returns. Unsure? Always contact our customer service before returning.
6.3 We charge for unfounded returns according to the current price list. The current cost is 25 euros. ALWAYS contact us before returning at: info@usvideo.se
6.4 Follow the return instructions carefully. Otherwise, we will resend the returned products back to the customer at their own cost. Generally, more than half of the so-called warranty repairs sent back are unfounded; in most of these cases, the product is not even broken. Some are poorly packaged or returns are missing a receipt, dispatch note, or fault description, and we do not know what the return is about, or sometimes even who the product sent back belongs to.

1. General

1.1 On May 25, 2018, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect. The GDPR concerns how personal data may be processed and stored. Here you can read more about how usvideo.fi/DNCN Invest AB collects and handles personal data related to you.

1.2 The Personal Data Policy applies to the data you provide to us or that we collect when you use our services, such as through our website, newsletters, competitions, and the like.

1.3 usvideo.fi/DNCN Invest AB (“Usvideo”, “usvideo.fi”, “our”, “us” or “we”) is responsible for the personal data you provide us. If you have questions regarding our personal data policy, please contact our customer service in writing or by phone. You can find our contact information under section 7.

2. WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT, FOR WHAT PURPOSE, AND HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT LEGISLATION

2.1 When you visit usvideo.fi, our system automatically collects information about you and how you use our website. Data our system records can include, for example, your browser type, the words, products, and categories you search for, your IP address, network location, and information about your computer, mobile, or tablet, which enables us to improve your user experience and optimize the functions of usvideo.fi, as well as to design relevant marketing. The legal basis for our processing of this data in connection with visits to the website can be found in the General Data Protection Regulation Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f.

2.2 When you sign up for usvideo.fi's direct marketing, e.g., on our Facebook page, newsletter, or similar, we register your name, email address, and other voluntary information that you provide when you sign up. The purpose is to offer you more relevant marketing. The legal basis for this can be found in the General Data Protection Regulation Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f.

2.3 When you purchase a product on usvideo.fi or communicate with us via our website, we register the information you provide, such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, payment method, delivery method, IP address, and which products you have purchased and possibly returned to us. These details are registered partly so that we can deliver the products you have ordered, and partly to manage and meet your right to return and warranty claims, cf. General Data Protection Regulation Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b. Information about purchases on our website is also collected so that we can fulfill legal requirements for accounting and bookkeeping, cf. General Data Protection Regulation Article 6, paragraph 1, letter c. When we register your IP address, it is to enable usvideo.fi to counteract and prevent fraud. The legal basis for this can be found in the General Data Protection Regulation Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f.

3. RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA

3.1 usvideo.fi forwards the name, address, email address, order number, telephone number, and delivery preferences to Schenker, PostNord, or another carrier that handles the shipping and delivery of the goods you have purchased from us. If you buy products that are not in our stock, your information may in exceptional cases be forwarded to the manufacturer who then is responsible for sending the relevant item to you.

3.2 As we use external partners for technical operations and maintenance, improvements on the website, collection of permissions to send out newsletters, participation in competitions, relevant marketing, and rating of our business and our products, your name and email address may be entrusted to these. All external partners processing personal data on behalf of Usvideo have entered into written agreements with us where they commit to strict confidentiality requirements in the handling of these. Therefore, none of our external partners may use your personal data for any other purpose than to fulfill the agreement they have entered into with us. To be able to offer you Klarna's payment methods, we need to share some of your personal data with Klarna, such as contact and order information, so that Klarna can assess whether you can be offered their payment methods and tailor the payment methods for you.

4. YOUR RIGHTS

4.1 For maximum openness and transparency regarding our handling of your personal data, we, as data controllers, will inform you about your rights.

4.2 Right of access
4.2.1 You have the right at any time to request to know what data is registered about you, the purposes the data serves, what categories of personal data are registered, to whom the data is forwarded, how they are handled, and from where data about you is collected.

4.2.2 You have the right to receive via email a copy of the personal data we have registered and processed about you. If you want such a copy, you should send a written request to our customer service at info@usvideo.se. We only forward personal data that can be linked to the email address from which the request was made. In other words, you cannot request information linked to another email address than the one you contact us from.

4.3 Right to correction
4.3.1 You have the right to request correction of incorrect personal data so that we do not use incorrect information when you use the services of the business. If you discover that something is incorrect in the personal data we have registered about you, you should notify us in writing via email to our customer service so that we can correct the data.

4.4 Right to deletion
4.4.1 In certain cases, you have the right to have all or part of your personal data deleted by us. This applies, for example, if you withdraw your consent and we do not have legal grounds to continue processing your data. If continued processing of your personal data is necessary, for example, if we need to fulfill our legal obligations to establish, assert, or defend legal grounds in connection with a police investigation, we are not obligated to delete the data we have registered about you. Deletion of personal data applies only retroactively. If you request to have your data deleted, you should be aware that your personal data will continue to be collected if you use our business's benefits or services in the future.

4.5 Right to restriction of processing
4.5.1 In certain cases, you have the right to demand that the processing of your personal data be restricted to only consist of storage if you believe that the data we have about you is not correct.

4.6 Right to data portability
4.6.1 In certain cases, you have the right to obtain a copy of the personal data that you have provided to us in a machine-readable format, and you have the right to forward personal data about yourself to another data controller.

4.7 Right to object
4.7.1 You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data with reference to direct marketing, including the profiling, segmentation, and analysis we undertake to make our communication and marketing relevant to you.

4.7.2 You have the right, with reference to reasons related to your personal situation, to object to our processing of your personal data that we undertake on the basis of our legitimate interest, cf. section 2.1 and 2.3.

4.8 Right to withdraw consent
4.8.1 You have the right to withdraw consent to direct marketing, e.g., newsletters. If you want to withdraw consent, you should send a written request to us at info@usvideo.se, cf. section 4.2.2.

4.9 Right to lodge a complaint
4.9.1 You always have the right to lodge a complaint about our business's handling of your personal data. Your complaint should be sent either in writing to the Swedish Data Protection Authority, Box 8114, 104 20 Stockholm, by email at datainspektionen@datainspektionen.se, or by phone at 08-657 61 00.

5. DELETION OF PERSONAL DATA

5.1 Data collected about your use of usvideo.fi, your name, address, email address, telephone number, payment method, delivery method, IP address, the products you have purchased and possibly returned, the browser you use, the words, products, and categories you search for, your network location, information about your computer, mobile phone, or tablet, our competitions, newsletters or the like, cf. sections 2.1, 2.2, and section 2.3, will after 2 years either be deleted or only be available in anonymized form so that it cannot be traced back to you. However, this assumes that during this period you have not interacted with our business's services, which includes visiting our website, placing orders on our website, participating in competitions, having read or clicked on emails, advertisements, etc.

5.2 The personal data we have collected in connection with your use of usvideo.fi, your name, address, email address, telephone number, payment method, delivery method, IP address, the products you have purchased and possibly returned, the browser you use, the words, products, and categories you search for, your network location, information about your computer, mobile phone, or tablet, our competitions, newsletters or the like, will be deleted or anonymized when you withdraw your consent. However, your data may be stored for a longer period if we determine there is a legitimate need to retain them, for example, where it is necessary to establish, assert, or defend legal grounds, or if retaining your data is necessary for us to fulfill current legal requirements.

5.3 The personal data we collect in connection with orders placed on usvideo.fi will generally be deleted or anonymized so that they cannot be traced back to you 3 years after the end of the calendar year in which the purchase was made. However, this assumes that during this period you have not interacted with our business's services, which includes visiting our website, placing orders on our website, participating in competitions, having read or clicked on emails, advertisements, etc. Your data may, however, be stored for a longer period if we determine there is a legitimate need to retain them, for example, where it is necessary to establish, assert, or defend legal grounds, or if retaining your data is necessary for us to fulfill current legal requirements. The business's accounting information is stored for 7 years until the end of the accounting year in accordance with the requirements of the accounting law.

6. SECURITY

6.1 usvideo.fi/DNCN Invest AB has implemented all recommended technical and organizational security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally or illegally destroyed, lost, altered, degraded, misused, disclosed, or acquired by unauthorized persons.

6.2 Only employees who have legitimate needs to access your data in order to perform their work have access to your personal data.

8.1 According to the law on electronic communication, which came into effect on July 25, 2003, all visitors to a website must be informed that cookies are used.
